Hello everyone

I am not sure if its the right forum for this topic so feel free to move it to appropriate section :konfused:

So basically I am looking to buy a decent digital camera, Should be able to take nice pictures under the sun and in a dark cave, basically everywhere :smiley:

The problem is that I am on a tight budget of £250 and I have no idea what I can get within this amount, I am more of a Sony and Panasonic fan so what brand, model, style should I go for ?

check DPreview and other reviews in your buying range…Sony is always on more expensive side…but Canon, Panasonic cameras are equally good and on cheaper side..

^ I wanted to buy Nikon D90 but dont have the budget at the moment so inshallah next year… I was checking online reviews and panasonic DMC TZ8 seems good, has anyone ever used it?

i have used Panasonic DMC-FZ7.
it was good.

but i will suggest you to save for canon or nikon.

Aminas, did you finally get the camera or no? I use a D90 and love it. Let me know if you have questions.

Check the Sony HX9V as u can also shoot great videos with in 1080p HD … stunning Video quality for a Foto Camera :slight_smile:

sony or nikon camera are both good. it depends on your preference.
