Does anyone have any problems swallowing pills? ex:centrum
Call me chicken but I am afraid of choking of these huge pills. My concern for that is because I want to take better vitamins and the really good vitamins are huge!
How did you get over your fear? I know this isnt that interesting but I would still like your input. Thanks

my sis and couple of my friends cant take larger pills...

you are not alone, i cant take pills too.
I could have a small tablet, drink a whole litre of water and the tablet is still in my mouth, my family thinks its really funny.

yep, me too. I can't get the medication down my throat and then I end up gagging. Now I cut it in half with a knife and it is much better.

I keep a piece of chocolate or nuts or a candy or anything to swallow right after the pill. And I hold my breath before swallowing but still chok. Always do.

I can swallow pills without water. The problem is, most pills taste bad that way :(

it takes me a while to put the pill in my mouth! i get so scared of it getting stuck in my throat. but i convince myself that nothing is going to happen and i drink lots of water after i take the pill.

Great idea, but always be careful to check if you are allowed to take that pill with any food. Some pills require to wait half an hour after eating or you have to take them half an hour before you eat something, etc.

One should always sit up straight while taking a pill, drink a glass of water, this way it won't get stuck anywhere on the road to your stomach.
Yes, swallowing is difficult with some huge pills, try to put the pill as far at the end/back of your tongue as possible. Then drink a lot of water.

Think about it, when you swallow food it is a forkful or when you drink water it is a mouthful also, so this is all truly in your head not because you "can't" swallow a big pill.
Place the pill in some apple sauce or something and just swallow, or as someone said, take with water standing up.
