I posted a topic about this here before but had to delete it due to the content within and fears that it might cause me further trouble. I am an American, living in the US and I’m being cyber stalked, bullied and harassed by a resident of Pakistan. He has employed hackers to obtain my personal information and has used it to threaten my employment, housing and credit. I’ve contacted the local and federal authorities, put freezes on my credit and warned everyone in my life about this person but he continues to escalate despite the fact that I have not engaged him for months. I am out of options and resources that I can find on my own. Is there anyone here who can give me suggestions for help from the Pakistan authorities to make this man stop what he’s doing? When I contacted the Pakistan Government, they told me they would not take my case unless I had a contact in Pakistan but I don’t have one. I’ve come to understand that he won’t stop until he is forced to by the authorities.

Thanks for your reply. This is the site I originally visited months ago when the harassment started. I followed the instructions to contact them and file a complaint. I hit a dead end when they insisted I provide them with a contact in Pakistan.

Can you specify someone from US embassy/consulate in Pakistan as your point of contact?
If you have absolutely no friend or relative in Pakistan who can act as a point of contact, then honestly, I think the only option is to hire someone in Pakistan to act as your point of contact.

Is he your ex? Unless he has some very personal bad information of you, he can not harm you. It is surprising you don't have any relative or friend in Pakistan, you can provide their addresses to Pakistani authorities, perhaps they will be willing to help you. The credit companies and banks here are very helpful. The moment you mention of any wrongdoings in your accounts they change it completely and pay you back if some one has fraudulently used your accounts. You are a US citizen, go to authorities here for help. They will definitely help you if you are telling the truth.

I sincerely thought you were mocking me by telling me to change my name and quit my job and move to another location. I won't give up my entire life for this person. I just want to be able to report him to the proper authorities so that he will stop harassing me.

He is not my ex. We were never friends. I am one of many people he has targeted on another forum. He pays hackers to hack people's computers, get their personal information and use it to carry out elaborate plans of harassment against us. He has my full name, phone number, address, the name of my employer and my social security number. I don't have any relatives in Pakistan because I'm American and don't live in Pakistan and have never been there. I've put a freeze on my credit so he can't try to open any more credit cards in my name. I've called my local police and have given them all the information but they can do nothing since he lives in Pakistan and the authorities in Pakistan refuse to take my complaint.

^^Who else he has targeted? What action others have taken? I am sure other Americans are not helpless or taken no remedial action as you are. Can you seek help from them?

Dozens of users on the forum have been targeted. Many of us have contacted our local police and also filed reports with our local governments (FBI etc) and reported to cyber crimes. In every instance, the brick wall we hit is when our authorities tells us they cannot do anything about him because he lives in Pakistan and we would need to contact the authorities there. Once we attempt to contact the authorities, we are directed to the FIA government cyber crimes unit and each time they refuse to take our complaints unless we provide a contact in Pakistan, which none of us has. We even attempted to contact the internet service provider that he uses. He continues to harass, hack, stalk, defame and bully us with no recourse and he taunts us saying that he is untouchable because the Pakistan government will do nothing to stop him.

Try to contact media house like ary . Iqrar ul Hasan of ary has done some good work I think. I maybe wrong as my impression is solely based on the TV programs. If u want than his contact can be arranged

Can u share how did u or he/she got into to contact with each other like which forum, website or other sources?

So none of you and your friends have relatives in Pakistan !!! That is a great surprise. Are you born in USA or you are a citizen by naturalization process? If by naturalization process how old were you when you came to USA? Are you still keeping your Pakistani citizenship? If yes what permanent address in Pakistan have you mentioned in your NICOP card?

Realy sorry to hear about your situation.
Not sure if this is the right forum for this discussion though... posters tried to help you but this is a criminal case, you are usa citizen and FBI will help you.
and which forum are you talking abt? it cant be GS as you seem to be brand new here with only 5 or 6 posts

I would like that. I'll take all the help I can get at this point. I cannot call out of the US but I can email and any other contact avenue online.
