Well theyre same really. The difference i guess would the be the difference between 'ghar' and 'makaan'. One is an object, the other is an object with a story.

statue - so far butt, putla, mujassimah.
butt - for longest time, reserved to point out the idols hindus used for worship
putla - the tailers used for displays in shops.
mujassimah - more used for the purpose of 'generically' referring to any figurative-art of a living form. more used for the purpose of 'yaadgaar'/museums

Urdu is not my first language…and neither is it my second …so its not my fault that I dont know it 
the only Urdu ive ever spoken or read etc…was 2 years at school for GCSE…in just 2 years I managed to get an A grade at the end of it…but that was when I was 16. Im surprised I even remember a little Urdu…being as I hardly ever speak it…only to very few people…cuz there isnt many Urdu speaking people living where I live in UK.
so please save the lecture

I ask u this…because my friends in “real life”…they have ALWAYS said to me “you are the youngest in the family…you have everything…u r spoilt…but u dont act it”…and they say im not the show off type.
I mean…just 2 days ago…I was talking a girl at a wedding…she was asking wot i do…i just said I go uni…and we started talking about other things …then she asked me again “is it English that u do?”…I said “no -pharmacy”…and after that she was all " " and started talking to me differently after that…
if I was the show off type…I would ACT like im a pharmacist…but if u met me in real life…u would see I dont act it at all…u could easily mistake me for a college drop out I dont look down on anyone as such.
I used to have a 2000 W reg car…at that time it was only 2 years old…I couldve posted pics of it and showed off…i didnt. when I went to meetings/parties etc…I wasnt the type of girl to say “oh guess wot…my dad brought me a new car…its this and that”…for a long time no1 even knew I had this car…until one day they saw me driving it and then ppl started asking…again, I didnt show off as such.
as for the guy im with…I wasnt intending on telling anyone about him on GS…but some1 dared me to open a thread and confess that I like him…and to follow a stupid dare, I did so…and u mustve noticed I havent opened a thread about him for a while now. only 2 of my best friends know about him…I havent told the others…if I was show off type…Id go and show his pics and tell them all about him…especially one of my so-called “friend” who is jealous of me for some compliments her mom gave me some time ago…and now shes in competition with me…If i was show off type…id show her my guys pics etc…just to prove to her that I got some1 she cant even dream of being with.
again, at the mehndi class i go to…the girls/aunties there all say that I am really well educated etc…but I dont show off. there was one girl who used to come to that mehndi class…and she would walk in with her head up…and suit on…and didnt talk to anyone…thinking shes better than everyone else…cuz she had a lexus…apparently she was just a medical rep…but she always told everyone about it…since shes found out that im a pharmacist…her “nakhra” has dissapeared into thin air.
often I get people telling me “you’ve got it going really good for you at such a young age…ur very lucky”…that I know I am, but only Allah is to thank for that.
I think thats enough said for now. I dont think u Janwar know wot kind of person I am and neither do most people on GS…maybe the way I post etc…shows me out to be something that I am not and never want to be. and Janwar, I think u can only judge some1 after meeting them and talking face to face…so next time u want to say soemthing about how I am…please meet me first
