Normally they use intqaal, wafaat for death in Urdu.

I was reading an article where the writer told that one of his teacher filled whole black-board with the words / expressions / phrases used to denote death in Urdu / Hindi.

yes right. faut ho jana (Its a varient of wafaat pa jana).. wafaat got a link with aafat
