Different ways of referring to Prophet Muhammad SAWS

AOA,

I just had a general question, hoping someone could shed some light on it. So in my Pakistani circle of family and friends, i hear people referring to the Prophet (saws) in different ways.
eg, Hazoor-e-Akram, Sarkar-e-do alam, Nabi Paak

That’s fine, but do other Muslims have different ways of referring to the Prophet (saws) or is it just Pakistanis that have different names?

Are people who use these names okay to do so? Like is it wrong to use different names?

thanks in advance

Re: Different ways of referring to Prophet Muhammad SAWS

-Aap [saws]
-Huzoor e aqdas [saws]
-Sarwar-e-kaainaat
-AaN Hazrat [saws]
-Rasool-e-Paak [saws]

aur bhii bahot se

Re: Different ways of referring to Prophet Muhammad SAWS

yes I'm sure there is,

but i wanted to know is it right or wrong? should it be avoided? And are Pakistani's the only ones that do it?

Re: Different ways of referring to Prophet Muhammad SAWS

Why do one use different names?

it is due to adab. Sahbah :razi: used to do this also, calling him rasol allah:saw2:, annexing fidak a abbi wa ummi ( meray maa baap aap per qurban) with our beloved prophet :saw2: name.

Quran also used different ilqaab, like muzzamil, mudassir, khatam un nabiyeen, wa dhuha etc.

Inshallah some one can shed more light on this.

One of the famous speakers of urdu language ata ullah shah bukhari used to call him meray nanajan, as he was syed from both maternal and paternal side.

Re: Different ways of referring to Prophet Muhammad SAWS

you can call the Prophet [saws] by any name that has a good meaning attached to it. usually, it has to do with his aither Geographic location Rasool e Arabii (saws); Sarkaar-e-Madina (saws) or his qualities like Al_Ameen (saws) for his honesty etc. it's OK i suppose. it depends which language the words come from...if it's Persian then probably the Iranians will call him by that name...i think you are right, mostly people from the subcontinent use these names.

plus there are more then 500 names/ilqaab of our beloved prophet :saw2: in different books, mostly written in classical fiqah book. Old scriptures also used ilqaab, like maaza and farqaleet.
