Ok Girls!!so here is the story…I have gotten these pants from Ann Taylor…They r the wide leg ones…Basically went to get the jeans…still hate the skinny ones…anyway..The pants have optional suspenders…which I did try on…the only place I have seen suspenders is either on tv or on clowns:clown: …but the amazing thing is they really help with the fit of the pant( I always have a problem with the waiste being too loose and fitting perfectly behind…)
But the thing is …I dont wear jackets…wat happens to the suspenders…really I have never seen a girl(and yes madona had them on in her video of vogue)…wear suspenders..It does look I dont know weird yet ok…
So any experiences out there??? And the wide wide leg pants …any experience with those too…

i don't like wide legs but may b coz i'm middle stature.they might look good on tall gals.As for suspenders i'll never wear those unless i'm a teen again with some tomboy look.
I would try to find the right fit.R u too skinny?I hav seen very petite sizes too.but depends on where u live.

^^ I am tall and skinny ..ok lanky:crying:but now have gained some weight which is why I am on pants shopping again…I usually try on their pants as thats the only place I like the fit…and usually order from them online,as they carry their Long sizes only online…But anyway..As I was saying..The suspenders do give a good fit..I tightened them up…and I dont know..where do the suspenders hide…
But how r the wide legs..they look fine when u r walking..but standing straight doesnt that makes em appear like a tent??

With high heels wide legs can b fine.
dunno how to hide suspenders...may b wear a pashmina shawl over them. j/k or may b wear two shirts one below them one over as if getting layers.If u wear them on ur body n wear shirt on top that might b uncomfortable.only jackets/light sweaters can b helpful but wat abt summer?
hav u bought a jeans.Is it too loose or just lil bit that belts can take care of? I love my jeans coming out of dryer.gives such a tight feeling.may b putting it in dryer shrinks it.

I got dressy pants..not jeans..And I did get a size larger...like I said..I have waist to hip issue:)...The suspenenders ..I did try undereath a shirt...but they r like too tight in the back...almost stretched straight..But anyway I might try with a belt...
Do u have any good suggestions for jeans...I donot like the skinny fit at all..I go for the straight a bit wider on the bottom fit..I have tried almost all the brands at the mall...except for department store ones...and lucky brand jeans r on my list next...which brand do u think is really good in USA??

i’m in canada so not all stores in usa r available here.my story is opp to urs.
since i’m 5-3’ i hav hard time finding right length so hav to go to stores with petite section. So far Reitman works good for me.their quality is gr8.n then there is Ricki’s that i love..I tried Eddie bauer but somehow it got ripped in less than a yr so never brought from there again.
I like straight legs .even slight wide at bottom is good but not too wide.If i could i would love to try skinny.
finding a good pant is such a hard thing:bummer:

^^ I am sorry but the store u r mentioning, I havent heard about them here maybe becuz we r in the South… For your height, U wear petite..I would not have thought, becuz the average ones r upto the height 5 6’..I am saying upto…but there is a difference in the fit. I know sometimes at the Ann taylor we would suggest even the 5 6 in height to try the petite skirts , and they would be I am not petite..but the main thing is the fit is different…
I had tried Eddie Bauer a while back…the fit didnt look too good on me though…and they have more casual clothes…The wide bottoms that u r talking about…r they the flare cut or the straight wide botton ones…
I am still trying to find JEANS…
..its so hard to..still wont get the skinny ones…I just dont like the 80’s fashion:(
