Okay - I am a multinicker
But not a REAL one - EVERYBODY knows all my 3 nicks
When I login with my different IDs I see a different page, i.e I mean that there are a few things that work with one ID and not the other one.
For example, with my original nick, i can see a small green TICK MARK on the main forum page with thread titles, which tells me which threads I have visited, but with the other 2 IDs I dont see this sign.
One of the IDs doesnt have all the text edit buttons in the reply box.
Etc Etc.
Is this something to do with the IE explorer version or cookies or something else? I use windows XP

the tick box you see is part of your settings which you did when u started using the id,
it shows ur subsribed the the thread
you can change that in your settings.

It depends in the settings of your profile.
If you don’t see the green tick mark then it means you are not subscribed to that thread, even though you might have replied to the thread.
Either you are subscribed to a thread or not (when you post a reply in any thread) is also an option in your profile. Which you can set for each of your account saperately.
As shown in the pic above, there are many helpful icons on a page which provide you more info about the forums and the threads in them.
A lof of times they are there but no one makes use of them. One such icon is the ‘statusicon’ (on the GS mainpage)

In simple english, threads you have replied to, you are subscribed to them. From what I've seen, if you see a tick mark next to a thread, that means you have replied to it. If the little light bulb is on, a new reply has been posted since the last time you viewed that thread. If the light bulb is off, no new reply has been posted since the last time you viewed that thread.
