Re: Different cuisines
I make a few dishes here and there from different cuisines like paella (spanish), risotto (italian), moussaka (greek), green bean casserole (american i guess).
Btw if you ladies haven't tried moussaka, you should - it's divine!!
Can you post your paella recipe please?
Re: Different cuisines
I prefer vegetarian food, so I’ve always made the veg paella from here: Vegetarian Paella recipe
I give it a desi twist though by adding crushed red chillies to the vegetables.
Btw the website has non-veg paella recipes too

Re: Different cuisines
If it is made with raw fish then I cannot enjoy it.
They give you raw fish, and you have to cook it by dropping the peices in the seafood broth they provide. You're given soy sauce and wasabi on the side, to eat with it. It's pretty great.

Re: Different cuisines
Actually, moussaka is middle eastern dish.
shabu shabu can be made with very thin slices of meat.
Re: Different cuisines
Apparently it’s made in both the Middle East and Greece, but the most popular version is the Greek one according to wikipedia
Moussaka (/muːˈsɑːkə/, .mw-parser-output .IPA-label-small{font-size:85%}.mw-parser-output .references .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .infobox .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .navbox .IPA-label-small{font-size:100%}UK also /ˌmuːsəˈkɑː/, US also /ˌmuːsɑːˈkɑː/; see below) is an aubergine (eggplant)- or potato-based dish, often including ground meat, which is common in the Balkans and the Middle East, with many local and regional variations.
The modern Greek variant was created in the 1920s...
