How’s TI 83 Plus different from other TI’s calculators? Also, is TI-84 Silver Edition a better choice when it comes to picking a calculator for an upper level math course? Is it easy to use?
Re: Different Calculators -TI's
The TI83 series is pretty much the same, be it plus, silver etc... Theres some difference between memory and the connectivity with PCs and other TI units. If you want to import stuff, like FFT calculator and all, your easiest choice would be the TI83Silver, which has a USB connectivity kit. The TI83 is different from TI89 (or ti92 or voyager) as the latter is more of an engineering tool with vectors, so you really dont want to go for the TI89. They are fairly to use with a wealth of online resources and tutorials, even the book that comes with it is pretty convenient.
Re: Different Calculators -TI's
Okie doke! So I can get a silver edition instead and be able to use it without any problem. Thanks so much.
Re: Different Calculators -TI's
well u can use these calculators until high school after u won't be able to use those, is better if u can learn how to solve a problem without it . i have 83 silver edition and is fine :)
