Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

On average Indians are darker and shorter than Pakistanis but they're certainly not uglier, you get equal amount of beautiful and ugly people in every color.

We need to stop hating each other in front of outsiders, at least we're from the same region and have a similar culture, in the days of the raj the same Goray who threw dead swines in Mosques and made it look like Hindus did it and killed cows and threw them in Mandirs will be pleased seeing us fight and bicker amongst ourselves, my grandparents say Hindus and Muslims lived side by side in harmony before the Goray spread their gand (filth), they do it everywhere they go and still do it, divide and rule...

The only issue we have is Kashmir, it's not worth it, we want peace and prosperity in our region not hatred and war, get over our differences, leave the Kashmiris alone neither of us have any rights to their land, make a new 'Jammu Kashmir' nation and make it a member of SAARC.

Hindi/Urdu mein jo chaahey ek doosrey ko keh lo, lekin don't give goray the pleasure..

Duniya kahaan ki kahaan pohnch gai lekin hamen akal na aai, what will endless hatred and war achieve? Nothing.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

Pakistan before Islam was not Hindu. It was Buddhist and Vedic. In fact the so called cradle of Buddhism is Pakistan.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

That's true but Hindus adopted the Vedic religion of our forefathers and mixed it with aboriginie religion to give birth to the current Hinduism's (they also adopted the Indo-Aryan language of our forefathers and the forefathers of some East-Punjabis).

Hindus believe Buddhism is an of shoot of Hinduism, they believe that Buddha was one of the incarnations of Ishvar/God, it's true that Buddha was born to a Hindu Khatri family but he rejected the traditional Hindu teachings and practices of his people just like Guru Nanak the founder of the Sikh religion.

Some Pakis were Hindu before they were Buddhist, my family is partially of Rajput descent which were Hindu Khatris before Ishvar graced them with His latest religion. Amir Khan the boxer is also a Janjua Rajput.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

^^^When I said cradle of Buddhism, I meant that Pakistan was the centre of learning of Buddhism and the main place where it developed. The Gangetic plains and Buddhism did not mix. Gandhara or Pakistan and Buddhism did.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

i think its true

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

Where did rajputs came from...These are known as Khshatriyas (nobles, warriors) in Sanskrit.

Khatri means a person belonging to business or trading community.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

obviously we all weren't identical to eachother buh i meant it over all u knoee... n you need sum history lessionz

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

Indians are smarmy back stabbers. They like to bad mouth Pakistanis behind their backs and are racist to boot. Indians believe they are better than pakisatnis and call pakistanis: jihadists and 'pakis'. Indians will bend like pretzels defending genocide in Kashmir, treatment of Dalits, Gujarat massacre of Muslims, and demolition of the Barbi mosque.

I find it funny that Indians are crying foul after Shilpa Shetty was spat on tele. India is the most racist society where fair skin is valued over dark and caste system is still practised. BBC did a story on preferential treatment given by the police to kidnapped children of higher castes v/s lower castes.

Please take time to write a note supporting women of Big Brother who spat on Shilpa Shetty. Thanks.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

dude, if you joined in 2006, and rani has not been around for 2 years, then u hafta tell us what your previous nick was. thankoo.

I agree with your views that we all should just let hate go. not just in front of outsiders, lets just let hate go..

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

I dont need any history lessons,

Geographic proximity does not mean that the people are the same, there are many differences. and those differences did not come about because of arab invasion either, they had their own impact, but sorry we are not all one and the same.

I am not saying this as a diss or being rude, I am just stating a fact. if you go to areas of india and Pakistan which are closer to china surely those ppl are not the same as makranis in pakistan, or sindhis, or hyderabadis in India. This is just the racial mix difference, when you go to social and cultural differences, aagain there are massive differencesas well. my north indian pals say they are more at ease with Pakistanis than with south indians because of a higher similarity.

we dont all have to be or have been the same to have mutual respect, accpetance and understanding.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

Thanks for correcting me.

I always assumed Khatri was the NW-Punjabi term for Kshatriyas because they sound the same, what you say makes a lot of sense because my grandparents tell me all the Mr Ram’s from my village were shopkeepers.

I like many fellow Pakis don’t know Sanskrit but that doesn’t change the fact that Sanskrit is a Pakistani language and every good and beautiful thing India has to offer was given to it by Pakistan be it Sanskrit or Kareena Kapoor and Karishma Kapoor  they look just like the next woman from our areas.. :snooty:

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

I've been reading these boards since I was a wee little one but I've not always been registered on here, I only have 1-2 recent nicks.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

Pashtuns are an Iranic people, this has been confirmed by DNA tests and language scholars.

Pashtuns are descended from Avestan people and are closely related to the Ossetians of Georgia, Yaghnobi of Tajikistan, Sogdians of Uzbekistan, Wakhi, Munji-Yidgha, Ishkashimi, Yazgulyam, Shughni etc. and more distantly to Balochs, Persians, Tajiks, Kurds etc.

All the Indic and Iranic people are related far back enough but the descendents of the Indic Aryan people are only found in Pakistan (some extent also NW-India) in substantial numbers, most other Indians are of Dravidian descent but they adopted the language of our forefathers, this is confirmed by DNA tests, an Indian on these boards posted an article supporting this.

Hail the Indus (Pakistan) the land of culture and civilisation, hail “Pakistan (region)” which thousands of years ago gave the remnants of a religion it no longer considers good enough for itself to its poor neighbour India like a gracious master giving unwanted presents to his servants on boxing day. :jhanda:

We need to reclaim Sanskrit and Vedic civilisation though, not the religion but there’s difference between culture and religion. The Romans became Christian but they still had their national identity intact, if we claimed back our Indic (Aryan) past, our Dravidian friends to the east will have very little to call their own.

Unn ki saari saqaafat-o-tehzeeb Musalmano ka sadqa-zakaat hai, chaahey woh Mughalon ke banaaey huwey mehal hon ya Pakistaniyon ki di huwi Sanskrit zubaan.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

^Nope. Pashtuns are not. Please give me a couple of hours while I finish something. I will answer any questions you have after I have given you proof that Pashtuns are not the same people as modern day Iranians.

I will also provide proof, solid genetic proof that Pakistanis in general are not the same as Indians. If you just be patient for a bit.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

And we wonder why Pakistan keeps going down the tube and why India keeps signing up international deals. All proof used to be religious until a few years ago and now these 'dna scouts of the worldwideweb' have joined the mullahs to conclusively proove something was something else a million years ago. Go for it tigers.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

i think they are mutually exclusive things :)

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

According to American Bone Marrow association Pakistan are more genetically close to Arabs than Indians.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

umm, mr mercenary, if you are a punjabi/sindhi or a muahjir, you share the same blood and gentics as most north indians

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

I don't know man..

I know Pashtuns are mixture of different races (Iranic, Turkic, Semitic, to some extent Dravidian) as we all are but they have maintained their East-Iranic genetic base and their language is definately East-Iranian.

Theories that they are Jews or Arabs are bull, maybe Semitic people were assimilated into Pashtun society but they're certainly not Semites as a whole.

Re: Differences between Pakistanis and Indians

I would say that people within 200 miles for the present Indo-Pak border are genetically the same.

I am from Indian Punjab; sometimes on a clear day we get Pakistan TV. In my village their are mostly Sikh Rajputs of the Janjua sub caste. There is a famous pakistani boxer Amir Janjua.
The Jatt/Rajput subcastes of Sandhu, Gill, Virk, Mann etc etc are found among both muslim, sikh and hindu jat.
My mom's village has a lot of Sainis....this caste is called Arain in Pakistan.
The Punjabi Chamar + Chura is the same on both sides of the border.

As for rest of India; I agree; South Indians are a totally different race.
