umm, not sure, my grandfather left Kashmir in the 1940s and enlisted in World War II and after the war ended he settled in Lahore.
We don't have any property or relatives in Indian Occupied Kashmir, not that I know off, so I guess we are from Pakistan controlled Kashmir...
My last name is Butt, so not sure if that helps you narrow it down or not
