I am completely dumb when anyone talk me abut makeup products or use of it.
But nw i am going to marry so hv to knw all but it. I hv read lots of makeup thread here and search also. and come to knw many new thngs abut it.
Here wanna knw the right use if i may be wrong in explaining. and difference as well.
If we collect all makeup products at one place the list would be like this:
Foundation
Compact powder
Blush on
Lipsticks
Lipgloss
Mascara
Eyeliner
Eyeshadows
bronzer
highligter
concealer
primer
contour
Nail color
kajal
tinted moisturizer
I thnk hv mentioned all abut it. write if i miss any.
I completly dont knw baut the primer. So i searched and get some reviews like:
Makeup primer, like everyone else says, is basically a product that helps you keep your eyeshadow, foundation, etc. on all day.
There is a face primer which helps your foundation last all day & also your concealer.
There is an eyeshadow primer that helps your eyeshadow stay on all day and not crease.
There is also a lip primer but it's not really that necessary. It just helps your lips before your apply your lipstick.
With face primers, they're usually clear, or transparent and you apply it throughout your whole entire face.
With eyeshadow primers, they can be creamy or liquidy. You just apply it like eyeshadow.

a make up primer is for oily skin mostly and you put it on before your make up and it last all day and if you have normal to dry or combo skin then you would use a setting translucent powder at the end that makes your make up set and stay on all day two.
After reading this , i am thnkng to hv it. but dont knw which one is good and application.
My skin is T-zone oily. and nw a days in winter it is likely normal. my base may be last long but i feel dark or dull nt fresh after sometime , so primier may be help me to keep fresh.
yar actually i use liquid base. start my face look fresh but after sometime it loks dark. cousin said shade is good near ur skin tone. dont take light. other said buy primer and apply it before foundation , face dont look dark. So nw want full detail of primer. then will decide whther i go for it or no?
is your foundation old? (i.e. have you had it for a long time?) that could be why the color is changing when you put it on- if not, i'd say you probably have the wrong shade- when you choose your foundation try the color on your jawline in natural sunlight to get a perfect match
using primer won't make the color look better- primer is meant to create a smooth base for your foundation to go on and make it stay on longer
Foundation: Try to match to your face as close as possible. If there is no exact match, going lighter is better since you can always darken it up later.
Compact powder: used to "set" liquid foundation, it also helps control oils like in your t-zone.
Blush on: adds color to the cheeks. You should have a pink and a peach at least. A nude blush (almost brown in color but slightly pink) is great for when you do smokey eyes or red lips etc.
Lipsticks/Lipgloss: essentially give the same effect but a lot of people hate lipgloss since it can be sticky at times.
Mascara: a must. It really helps widen your eyes and can make a huge difference.
Eyeliner: A pencil liner or gel liner are great to have.
Eyeshadows: having one neutral palette is enough for most beginners
bronzer: adds 'warmth' to the face, you normally apply it in the hollows of your cheeks (where they sulk in) and under your blush.
highligter: a must for me. You apply this on top of your blush where you'd get a natural glow. Under the brow bone, on the bridge of the nose are also good places to highlight.
concealer: a must. Covers under eye circles as well as blemishes/pimples.
primer: helps create a smooth surface for your makeup as well as control oil. I dont think a face primer is necessary most of the time, esp. for everyday makeup. Eye primer on the other hand is a MUST. It helps colors go on pigmented and rich as well as helps prevent creasing and makes eyeshadows last several hours. Urban Decay makes a Primer Potion which is really great.
contour: not necessary for everyday and can be tricky since it requires practice. I'd skip and stick to just bronzer.
Nail color: I'd get the basics like a light pink, red, a glittery one etc. Depends on your own taste, really.
kajal: Great to have but if you find a good pencil liner, you can use that as well.
tinted moisturizer: it's basically foundation mixed with mousturizer. You can make your own by mixing face cream and your foundation.

thanx to u as well.
Actually stick makes patches on my self. thaty cousin said i refer u to apply the primer. but nw using liquid no such prob like patches. just dark complexion prob. Today i applied it again to check also applied lighter shade of loose powder, it somehow lookng good.
Nw tell me do i apply it like this way. or buy the liquid of lighter shade no need to apply powder?
the powder i applied is rimmel loose powder.01 shade.
here u guys told ur skin tone refer like NC, Nw. how do u come to knw. means wr is chart ot wr?
This is the MAC standard and in order to find your shade, you have to get matched to a MAC foundation. NC= (Neutral Cool)- Golden/Olive Undertone. NW = (Neutral Warm) Pink/Rosy undertones.
thanx to u as well.

if you have to apply lighter powder to make the foundation color look right on your skin, then you probably have the wrong color foundation- you should go try some shades at the department or drug store and make sure you look at them on your skin in natural sunlight
