I dont know the exact proportion but in Pakistani Punjab four castes form the bulk of the population Jatts, Arains, Rajputs and Gujjars.

A good rule of thumb:
Jatt: has a gandasa
Natt: says "....sohneya"

There was a time when Pakistani film industry preferred heroines who can play Jatti ( 4 man ki kuri, 4 man foot ki chalang laga sake to wo heroine) :D

Gujjars are native population of Delhi, they have huge numbers here :)

^ arains, i dont know their origin are mainly a muslim group and in the north we have gakhars, awans and abbasis

Even number of my shoe is 10 against my hubby's 7, the one with longest slipped in home is me :)

No idea about Arains, I only know about Gujjars, there are gujjar sikhs as well

In huge numbers, mostly in delhi, haryana, western delhi and Rajasthan, they are all 99% hindus and 1% sikhs. Delhi has city of Gujjars, they were the nomadic tribe in british times, British colonized them in their tenure, in 1857 they looted retreating Britush and later retreating Delhites :D
