Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

there’s no point for encouragement they all need sacking and the industry needs to start again!, the illiterate and paindu lollywood heroines think they have been gifted by god ‘mein lollywood ki number 1 adakara houn’ i’m sexier than so and so… wateva! The heroes are just as bad especially Shaan. and dont get me started on the female playback singers, they do more screaming and shouting than singing

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

what's wrong with Shaan? i think he's one of the better ones.. as for the singers.. they're mediocre at best but don't just blame them.. the madaaris who compose more to show off their kartabs at an instrument than to create entertaining music are to blame too.. not to mention fly by night producers who have no formal training in recording and mixing .. the list is endless .. the industry is full of hacks and needs an overhaul.. top to bottom..

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

What’s right with shaan? He thinks he is the next sultan rahi or something!

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

Ok, now that is worng :nono:

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

i don’t think he does.. he has to earn a living too u know.. it’s not his fault producers make more movies of that kind.. i don’t think he rejects other roles when they come his way..

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

The biggest problem I'm beginning to see is that people just don't want to go to the theatre to begin with - if you have the same cinema hall, and the American movies playing back to back...are u going to have a crowd? Not as much as there should be, because pple opt for those 30 ruppee or whatever DVD's these days. Plop it in the player at home and relax with some squash juice or something and watch it. Who wants to go thru tiresome chichora crowds at the theatre?

If you don't give people the right venue to go to, they wont give any Pakistani movie a chance. Yeh Dil Aap Ka Hua was different because it was one of the first movies released in its format and technology in Pakistan. So people made the effort. Now after seeing what happened to Reema's movie, I think you'd have to have shah rukh khan appear in a movie in order for people to come back to the theatre.

I dont get why anyone doesn't start building a chain of theatres in Pakistan - its a good business venture, and people will pay to go to the cinema as if they're walking in to an American theatre - fully equipped with popcorn and cheese-nachos etc etc. Just build theatres and show American movies - and sneak in Pakistani ones here and there.

:konfused:

Who does this ?

Despise indian movie, fine. I understand. Many people don’t like them. Also there are hardly 2,3 good indian movies in a year so one can safely skip rest of them.

Regarding pakistani movies, it is very difficult for a sane person to ‘Love’ Pakistani movies these days, the most one can do is ‘Like’ some of Pakistani movie…

For instance I may *like ‘*Inteha’ or 'khoye ho tum kahaan’ but I can not Love them  They are just good for watching once. Thats all.

here is a short list of nice pakistani movies in recent times

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

It’s his fault and others for encouraging producers and directors to make these types of movies! They could all refuse offers for movies of that kind…but all they are interested in is MONEY! Why don’t they take some lessons from the TV/Drama producers who are much recogonised for their talent.

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

is it me or is shaaan in every other movie?? is he the ONLY ''hero'' or something?

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

indian movies are becoming more and more explicit you cant watch with family anymore

Re: Difference between Indian and Pakistani movies

I know our movies arent great.... there main problem appears to be financial and the limited scope of depth of the producers and audiences to which they usually cater to....but I sincerely believe they will be one day (Insha-Allah) given enough time, pace and most importantly new fresh faces, producers and $$$ that it will take off... In all fairness, Indian movies appear to spend much time and effort in their production and have a huge following but I dont have an affinity for Indian films as I truly consider them foreign and they dont belong to my country and often protray Pakistan in a bad light and Muslims marrying off into unholy marriages etc...etc..... If I want to watch something foreign I prefer Hollywood movies(which are leading the world in plot, f/x, technology, budgets) or even Iranian movies which I think we can learn from.. We need to develop a healthier and more productive support of our movie cinema and encourage producers and investors to make more exceptional films so that we can initiate a great movie making era here in Pakistan as we all love watching movies of all types. Our priority needs to be the movie industry here in Pakistan first, and like a little child who rides a bike on training wheels (even though he's 10 years old) you will continually encourage and supervise him till he one day is mature enough-takes the training wheels off and decides to take off on his own!!!at which point you will see that it was all worth it..
