I don't think you can tell the difference untill you look on the underside.

Virtually all bridal dresses will be hand embroidered. The quality will depend on the materials used in the kaam and intricacy of stitches. Machined work is mostly with threads only, with perhaps some sequins. Some bridal dresses may have machine thread work as a base with hand work done on top. It totally depends on the finished kaam.
