Re: Dietetics
sounds intresting
Re: Dietetics
I think this is a very good and fast growing field . In future you will probably be working in the hospital, nursing facility, office of physician or other health practitioner or clinic.
You definately need a bachelor's degree.
You can also get special training in diabetic diets or renal diets, because then you will have to do masters degree ----meaning more employment opportunity---high pay.
I belive that in order to become a dietician you should take courses in biology, chemistry, math, health adn communications. sometimes, psychology, sociology and economics, i guess depends upon the school.
i myself don't know more about it, hope it helps......
let me know if u need more info..
Re: Dietetics
hey aiesha
yep its a medicalish career, thats true. i was looking at the ada website, and it talks about an associates degree which allows one to be a 'dietician technician'. but im aiming for a bachelors. basically, i'll be looking to intern and get my degree done... a masters and a job will follow much later.
i've taken psych, bio, chem, human bio, health, and plenty of math :D the course requirements are actually not all too difficult for dietetics. thanks for your info!
