Diet pills

Has anyone had experience taking diet pills for weight loss?

I know that following a proper diet and exercising is probably the only way to loose weight. But I want to know if there are diet pills out there that have worked for anyone.

Re: Diet pills

they work, but you will gain even more weight after you stop using them

plus the side effects are horrendous

Re: Diet pills

Have you tried any?

Re: Diet pills

no but i know people who have

Re: Diet pills

I've spent most of my teens battling with my weight and did experiment with pretty much most diet pills at some point. Long story short - they don't work and do more damage to you in the long run, even the ones that are advertised as being completely safe and natural.

Re: Diet pills

I know someone who took diet pills and it had really bad side effects. She started growing manly facial hair....it was sad. If you want to lose weight do it the RIGHT way not by taking pills.

Re: Diet pills

they've worked but you hvae to work out while u use them
My mom has diabetes so when her weight was critical... dr put her on some.. but she still watched what she ate and worked out.

No miracles.. all work. :)

Re: Diet pills

Thanks for the info.

I recall last time I tried those things, which was few years back, they really mess you up and make you sick...especially ones with ephedra.

I thought there might be something new and improved in the market these days, but I guess they're still the same.

Diet and exercise may be the only option when it comes to loosing weight.

Re: Diet pills

There are two medically approved 'diet pills' which are said to have some results but can only be taken under doctor supervision and they are so new that I'm not entirely convinced that a few years down the line they won't discover some side effects with these too.
