Diet coke diet

I have become completely addicted to diet coke drinking upto half a litre a day.
As tmrw is a new Monday have decided to give it up cold turkey. Will report back if the small issues I have been having improve.
Have been having headaches, stomach cramps, and insane sugar cravings.

I believe diet coke is worse than normal coke and I would not drink diet coke after reading this article

:smilestar:theek to ho na? bimari na lag jaye! @Hmmna, you made my blood race! lol. I can’t even imagine that amount of coke in a single day! I encourage you to give it up and perhaps drink occasionally. Let us know on Friday how you did throughout the week!

Yes your headaches, stomach cramps and sweet cravings are a result of your daily diet soda consumption. I read an article where it was mentioned that daily intake of diet cola leads to weight gain (just imagine what regular cola would do). Thankfully, this is the only bad habit that i don't have, i don't like fizzy drinks at all.

Try substituting cola for lemon mint drink. Just take a bunch of mint leaves, a lemon, honey, chilled water and blend it in the blender. You can add cucumber/ ginger if you like. And then sieve the mixture. What you get is a cooling healthy yummy drink. Its way better then the diet cola. Try it, it tastes 1000x better than diet cola.

Day 1 didn't go too well. Had 1 330ml can of coke at lunch. Didn't have any at dinner though. Onwards and upwards

Also try herbal teas if you are a fan of them? You can drink it as an alternative source to say goodbye to coke.

I used to drink a lot of coke back in college days but now I have stopped drinking. In fact, I don’t like any fizzy drink, cannot say No to fresh orange juice.

Get an infusing bottle and add whatever fruits/veggies you'd like...it's a great alternative to soda and juices. Sparkling water is also good from time to time if you're craving something fizzy.

So far have been so substituting lemonade for diet coke. Am gna try this water soon as want to get rid of fizz completely

@Hmmna...good going! I've started drinking a large bottle of water morning, mid-day and evening. Give that a try! The recipes in this thread sound oh-so-delicious! I must try them!

I had detox water last week....didn't feel anything instantly or something... Apple mint lemon cucumber ginger mausmi and water...infused them.for five hours...you all are going to start with detox water...How about we all try different diffrentbtypes of detox water and tell the results...
Oh...almost forgot...it was tasty though...:p
