Hi girls. .. I need urgent advice on wat to wat n wat to avoid after c section… wirh m first born the hospital (in pak) gave me all kind of food including rice…but my Mil gave me less spicy mutton/chicken salans n roti for almost a month. . No rice, daals or beef. .. I want to have a properly balanced diet this time. Can I eat beef pasta, kaleji?
Re: Diet after c-section
For a day or two just keep it light and then move on to a high protein diet. Beef is high on protein, but if you are feeding avoid daals and gassy food like broccoli.
Re: Diet after c-section
I’m going to be bfeeding…so no daals… wat abt spinach? Methi? Betroot etc…is it ok to eat fish n chicken kaleji?
Re: Diet after c-section
Eating roti dipped in Chicken yakhni is good after delivery like in chilla.
Re: Diet after c-section
My mum made me avoid spinach, but beet root is high on iron and good, fish is good but I have heard that chicken liver in general is a bad idea to eat if it isn’t fresh. Stick to mostly meaty dishes and roti, eggs, kababs, juices, fruits, milk, yoghurt, cheese, yakhni, nuts.
Re: Diet after c-section
Thanks. .. and can I eat salans with red chilli? My mil flavoured my salans only with salt n black pepper n haldi…she was worried red chilli will be harming my incision
Re: Diet after c-section
Its better if you keep it simple in chilla. Eat salans low in spices
.have yakhni panjeeri garam doodh neen garam saunf wala pani you ll be good. You’ll heal faster and lose the weight too.
Re: Diet after c-section
Why would spices be harmful for you?
Re: Diet after c-section

but i went into a normal diet as soon as i was home, after 3 days.. mom gave me salans with desi ghee and LOTS of milk.
