Which one is better? I know that Diesel is cheaper but I’ve heard that Petrol has more power.
So if I buy a newer car, what should I buy, diesel or gas car ?
acceleration wise usually diesel cars r faster because of more torque :p
deisel cars r more sofisticated because deisel is less volatile
it also gives better consumption figures so u save money from 2 sides.... cheaper fuel and better consumption figures
to be honest now days diesel cars r alot less noisy

Diesel
Cons: Loud, more pollution, more maintenance required, slower pickup.
Pros: Cheaper, more efficient
Petrol
Cons: Expensive,
Pros: Cleaner, more pickup.
Diesel does have more torque. It generally will not help you unless you are going up hill or have too many ppl in your car!
I would buy the petrol if possible.

I think Diesel would be more economic, but if you're looking for power I'd go for petrol.
