Ah… So not true…Diesel fuel having higher carbon content correspondigly has higher energy content than petrol (gasoline), and diesel performance is usually better in terms of engine output. These factors also mean that vehicles running on diesel put less global-warming pollution (CO) into the air. I don’t mean a VW Beetle from 1969 with a diesel engine is less poluting than current gasoline engine cars. However, if you compare modern day diesel engines to gasonline engines, diesel engines are less harmful for the environment.

the difference? Diesel engines dont have spark plugs…the hot air from the compression is what ignites the fuel…:smile:

in paks they have Gas cars run by real gas (not the american call petrol gas) type

now thats an accident waiting to happen!
