Zardari/BB never denied the presence of 1.5 billion dollars frozen in banks…which Pakistan government got frozen…they never explained how they got this money…It was up to Pakistani government to persue these cases on the basis of misuse of public office for personal gains…which they never did and only used the cases as political black mail…

Zardari’s lawyers never denied getting 12 million dollars commission from cotecna/SGS which they claim was recieved as businessmen representing these companies…a perfectly legal thing in Switzerland…but a crime in Pakistan as it was misuse of public office…to make personal gains…it was up to Pakistani government to pursue the case on these basis…which they never did…and used these cases only for political black mail…

Eventually all these cases were taken back and money released when BB made the deal with Musharraf…remember BB was so keen in getting these cases withdrawn…as Sheikh Rashid had been saying all along…the main point of persuation by BB during all the negotiation was withdrawl of these cases…the fact is there was enough evidence against the couple to put them behind the bars…
