I'm not married, but I enjoy cooking, so you could say I'm learning before :D.
I like to experiment with desi and western recipes. With desi recipes, I've learned that the foundation for many of the dishes is pretty similar (same spices, onion, garlic, tomatoes)....and waiting until the oil rises to the surface to know that the salan is done cooking. Once you get a hang of the foundation....desi cooking is not hard.
