Did you know? (Science Edition)

Re: Did you know? (Science Edition)

When you continuously rub a steel bar with cotton cloth, it gets Polarized... then spill water near that bar... that polarized bar will attract water and turn it's falling direction towards itself...

Re: Did you know? (Science Edition)

^ N same when u rub a plastic bar on ur head , it gets polarized .......... place some pieces of cotton or tissue paper on a table , and bring the bar near the pieces , that polarized bar will attract the pieces

We used to do this trick when we were in school

haye ki yaad dila ditta ;)

Re: Did you know? (Science Edition)

Cool. Didn't know abt falling water.

Re: Did you know? (Science Edition)

The earths magnetic field
And gravity

What's the connection

Re: Did you know? (Science Edition)

Probably nothing. Magnets I think only attract iron and other magnetic objects. Gravitational law isx

F = constant*M1M2/r^2

Notn magnetic.

There is no connection between earth magnetic field and gravity. At least no connection is found yet. That is because scientist are unable to combine gravity as a force, with the rest of three forces.

Did you know the zebras are black with white stripes, and not white with black stripes

Re: Did you know? (Science Edition)
