in winter when you leave your car in parking, clean fog/snow from the windows on which sunlight would be falling.
It would keep your car warm, as a result you spend less energy to make it warm when you drive it.

When making break fast close your stove/oven just before you egg/toast is completely done, leave the egg for little longer on then pan.
You would be using heat absorbed by the pan.
