Mine was a love cum arranged marriage…my hubby is my cousin and we had feelings for each other…parents had no objections n we got married smoothly mashAllah 
My parents are quite broadminded in this respect so they dont discourage love marriages…if the guy n family is good…they are cool with it! But ofcourse my parents like all other parents are protective about us…if they will feel that their child is not making the right choice…they wont encourage it.
