empty your full dishwasher and then realize that the dishes havent been washed???
ACK.
I cannot run my toaster oven and dishwasher at the same time or the circuit will pop. So dishweasher was running, I needed to use the toaster oven so I “paused” the dishwasher…only to forget alllllllllllllll about it. This morning, I quickly emptied it, put almost all the dishes away and at long last came upon a dirty dish and remembered that it had only just started the wash cycle.
what a ding dong! So now I have to wash ALLL my dishes, all my silverware and most of my glasses.
Its okay Mama...Ive actually loaded my dishwasher with everything...like there wasnt a dish to eat out of anymore...only to close it and walk away. The next morning I opened up the dishwasher to see all the dirty dishes and...yeah...no one was happy about having to scrub last nights dried remains off the dishes so they could eat.
Awww, Mama n Psquared. I feel for you both. We're only 2 peeps at home so mostly I just keep on loading it till it's full and then run it. But my day today was SUCH a disaster. I almost cried.....
Hubs n I spent this weekend thoroughly shining our kitchen. We're both extreme neat freaks so it was actually happy time pass for us. And today I'd woken up early and was almost done with all chores only to realize that I forgot to switch off the stove (which was at the minimum possible heat setting) so eventually, all the food got burnt. And then later, Id boiled some milk to make some yogurt at home for karrhi, and guess what, THAt boiled over too and the whole stove top was a mess again..
and lastly, since we were "cleaning" all weekend, yesterday I'd put some vinegar in our electric kettle, obv, only to forget abt it after it had boiled. And I was SOO blank today (thanks to all the above) I didn't even remember why the milk would go bad just as I'd pour it over hot steamin water... So yeah,. there went a perfectly good bag of milk down the drain.....
I SUCK
I am very particular about inspecting almost everything in the dishwasher before taking stuff out. My sister always loads it and turns it on, that's why I am cautious because what if she forgets to or something. However, I prefer washing dishes myself vs. the dishwasher. It takes too much time and is too much hassle IMO.
I used to wash dishes by myself for a year before I learnt how to use the damn dishwasher. Talk about stupidity, yours was for a day mines was for a year :(
