i've gotten a lot and written a lot (from and to my ex S.O). i like them, i feel they're more personal than e-mails.
I had one, when I came to England the second time. I was 15, this girl sent me a letter via her friends in class, infront of EVERYBODY the teacher included, mai aik dum hur-bura gya kay what to say lol!
The best answer I could come up with was ‘don’t know’ and I gave the paper back.
The piece of paper got angrily chucked back at me, the girl’s mates were furious and I got ignored soundly by 80% of the girls in my class for the next few weeks for being ‘tactless’ supposedly (yeah like asking me infront of 35 people and the teacher wasn’t tactless 
)

never....and its not that i was some arrogant beauty or a very tom boyish but because all my class mates were freakin dumb, nalaik tattu....letters to duuuuuur ki baat...they dont even know how to write urdu. angerazi to phir dur ki baat hai.
Nursery, primary, 1st, 2nd and 3rd were the only classes I attended in Pakistan. The only love letters we ever wrote were "With Love, from Pakistan" and the only one's we received looked something like " 3 stars, Love, Miss Zareena".
Cards and 'love letters' should be handwritten (with a box of truffles and fresh flowers) no thank you to e-cards and virtual bouquets!

I agree with Gina- There is nothing better then a love letter or card along with flowers and chocolates.

and yes I received numerous when i was in high school. I would find them in random places my locker, in my book bag, even on my car’s windshield. One guy was courageous enough to hand it to me. lol but i refused to take it or even open it.
I also received many from my fiancee before we were engaged. Nothing is better then a letter/card with a personalized poem…

Before my marriage I got love letter via email twice on my office email Id. I didn't know who the sender was. I never replied to those email so thankfully I never got them again. But to date I dont know who the sender was :(

I haave received one before.. It was chucked at me in my house while I was fishing for something rather embarrassing through my drawers… Needless to say the guy isn’t dead yet.. WHY dont they just do what they threaten to! Its highly annoying for people like me who expect it 
On the other hand never sent one, never will… well to a nobody anyway

PCG some people just don’t have the courage to do all these things may be someone has liked you and still likes you , you never know …think positive . dont call yourself a looser and cheer up

Yes I got a couple in school, few in college, few in uni and only one at work.
The one i got from work was the best, as i got flowers, chocolates, card, and inside the card was a love letter and also vouchers for me to treat myself......the good old days hey!!!!
