It was Yazeed who gave orders, and Shimr who wholly and proudly was responsible for beheading Imam Hussain (AS) while he was still ALIVE, in essence, martyring him. Then Umar ibn Sa’ad called volunteering horsemen to trample Imam Hussain’s (AS) body.

Why do you read only one sided history. There is another theory that Yazid never gave any orders to kill Hazrat Hussain then how can you say he gave orders ? Nobody has solid proof whether he gave orders or not hence we can not claim that Yazid was responsible.
