I gathered some generic pics of various nice Middle Eastern cities, making sure to avoid national land marks or recognizable things (car plates, signs, etc)
I put them togather emailed them to myself and showed them to my acquaintences (non desi and non Arab) and told them that a friend of a friend went to Iraq as a contractor and sent me these photos. I told them these are pics of Baghdad, Karblah, Basrah, and some other northern cities in Iraq. Then I would go on about how my friend told me (as evident in the photos) about all these tall new buildings being constructed in Iraq , the shopping malls that have sprung up, the nice new cars everyone is driving , the exotic car dealership in Basrah, these new freeways that are under construction and how westernized life in Iraq is now.
Then I add that the Iraqi economy is really booming after it was freed from Saddam, and that the liberal media doesn’t want to show you these pics because it goes against their agenda.
LOL It changes their perception really quick about the war, and start praising it, atleast the ones who were against it.
Ofcourse I am not telling them. If anyone catches me I will tell them my friend played a prank on me.
