I already told you CM. No need to get perturbed. There has been no tangible action in the muslim world aside fro displacing the blame on to America for their current condition. If we all agree that OBL is evil, then why not join in and use the religous edicts that he is blasphemizing to their right intent. After all shouldn't that be a greater reason than blaming American foreign policy for self iposed impotence.

What OBL did, is to throw doubt into every CEO, and small business owner in the country. They did not hire, they did not buy new equipment, they did not commit to new factories. They cut expenitures and hunkered down in a defensive posture conserving cash.

You are WRONG. The consumer confidence had jumped up for a month or two right after 911 (to display "patriotism"). Corporate confidence is associated with the economy. Companies were already dying/bankrupt/loosing money, their confidence didn't change a lot. Only directly affected companies were impacted.
Osama's goals were to incite hatred of the west in the muslim world, create a climate of fear of Islam in the west, and to drive both Isreal as well as America from the Arabian Pennisula (Iraq and KSA primarily).
Considering that the US has only increased it's presence on the Arabian peninsula, he has really only succeeded on the 1st count and to some degree on the second. So it's too early to declare either the US or Osama the winner, but as CM pointed out earlier the Muslims are coming out on the losing end.
The smart money in "US vs Osama" will be on the Yankees.

I dont know wether OBL have won or not, but I´m sure there will be a lot of youngsters who would like to join al-qaida now. There is even more hatred against the United States of Israel after there latest adventure in Iraq.
Personally i´m very pleased with the development so far in Iraq. United States of Israel the enemy of Islam and muslims are fighting another enemy of Islam and muslims namely Saddam Hussain.
I´m sure that the events in Iraq right now is creating hundreds of thousands of fundamentalists muslims who would se it as obligatory to fight USI anywhere with any means nessesary. Even moderate muslims who thaught OBL to be wrong bombing the USI on 09/11 are having a second thaught.
I my self is thinking why remember only one day the 09/11 when there is 365 days a year. To eradicate 09/11 we should make the rest 364 days ................ you people know what i mean :D
The USI will soon realise that its a little bit more difficult to keep a country occupied than win a war they should look at there masters in Israel and ask them whether they feel more safely after the occupation or Palestine or not.
Hopefully people like Bush would be in charge of the USI for many years to come. Bush and his gang is for sure making the USI a bigger superpower of the world. It has become much easier for americans to travel to any part of the world whether its for buisness or pleasure reasons and they are and will be welcomed anywhere after the resent war. :D
None of the great empires of the world in the history of mankind expected to loose and be demolished by external threats and none of them did. Neither will USI be destroyed by any external force. It will be on the "top of the world" forever, as all the great superpowers before them did. :D
