I am really happy and full credit goes to Ireland but i felt as if this game was fixed and the english purposely dropped catches, misfielded and were just not trying hard to make this happen for Ireland. Even if you look at the last ball of the game. The guy just flicked it and it went to the boundary and the fielder chasing it was not even trying. This happened so much thru out the game. If you watch the game closely you will see that england was not giving their 100%. It was just too obvious at lot of times.
This tournament is getting very interesting now.
Re: Did England players underperform against Ireland
England did not underperform but Ireland overperformed.

another good show by ireland.. the fixing suggestion is nothing but insecurity... you come across as a fool..

before calling me a fool maybe you should watch the full Ireland batting. i am pretty sure you only watch the highlights so STFU
ireland got too many chances. It was more of a bad show from England. England gave them the win on a silver platter. field placement and fielding did raise those doubts for me

Strauss seemed pretty lost even when Sachin & Yuvi were firing in the last game. Does not seem to handle pressure too well, and thats what happened in this game. He was not prepared for Kevin O'Brien's assault.
