Actually I read that scoring higher on the measure of spirituality and ego strenght both cause DID. That is why I asked if there is any direct or indirect relations, cause or its effects on it.

so you are saying that if a person is highly spiritual or highly egoistic, he/she will have higher tendency to have DID/MPD?

Were there any particular reasons given for this conclusion? I like to read them since it’s new/surprising for me.
