Did anyone fully understand everything in that drama? i didn’t understand the significance of owls/ullus. what was the purpose behind them? i remember the guy was selling them so people could do black magic but why was it in the title of the drama??
and at the end, who poisoned the children?
but i must say, that drama was amazing. the acting was out of this world.

I never fully finished the drama...I only got up to epi 14....I need to finish it!!

I watched it and its one of the best things happened on Pakistan TV screens in recent times.
Ullu (owl) is otherwise of symbol of ‘nahoosat’ in east and symbol of ‘wisdom’ in west. While the title makes sense for western ideology, I didn’t get the title for eastern purposes.
Who killed the children? Writer and Director 
That was done in strange way and I think that left more impact than if we knew who killed them.
The play, scenes and directorial values reminded me of Golden era of PTV. The suffocation of female characters was portrayed by this new writer at par like Noor ul Huda Shah portrayed in ‘Jungle’

^ i so agree. i loved the drama , much better than humsafar or zindagi gulzar hai which got so much more publicity and ratings.
i am still confused about the title, why were the owls so important. wasn't the guy selling them for black magic? i guess maybe in the end, the owls were left in the haveli and no humans. i think the aapi killed the kids? they didnt show who but it was a woman who did.
I think chacha (issak)'s new wife (forgot her name) killed the kids for revenge for chacha s suicide!
Watched it until episode 12...need to finish it. The acting was amazing...have to agree with that. It's not a commercial drama and def reminds me of golden era PTV dramas.

or maybe she killed them to get them out of her way, this way both havelis belong to her. the kids would have gotten their share which would have been alot since they were sons

This was by far one of the best dramas on Hum Tv last year. It really reminded me of the early 90s dramas of PTV, almost felt like it was a tribute to them. However, the ending could have been better, the writer went too far down the tragedy route. Who killed the children? Why did Ghulam Fareed suddenly go insane? Also who shot at Aasia's friend and the journalist? (they hint at Wali but it doesn't make sense).

better than zindagi gulzar hai and humsafar? Then I have to watch this then or i'm missing out. I discovered humtv on my cable network this yr so not sure if it's showing but i can watch online.
WHat does farokht mean?
If Muqa bhai and Bella give their seal of approval then it's a definite must see.

Noman Ijaz, Saba Qamar, Sohail Ahmed (Azizi), Noman Masood, Irsa Ghazal, Yamna Zaidi… All in their one of memorable performances.
