so the kid is a yr old.. and he has the runs.. i dont knwo why cuz he has not had anything out of the oridnary… he isnt teething (as far as i know).. but the runs he has … atleast 2 a day.. i knwo its not BAD but still.. the kid is uncomfy so i thinik he also has a tummy ache… is passing horrible gas.. and then come the runs.
i need tried and tested totkay.. no medication cuz i cant get any… ive already tried mint zeera and elaichi water as well as oatmeal water.
any help out there?

ya im giving that too..
he seems to have stopped with teh runs but teh gas and tummy ache is just horrible... poor baby.. im giving him mylicon drops in hopes it will help with the gas.. its the most i can give him medicine wise...

okay when my daughter was new born I done this to ease her tummy pain and it worked , you can try it too if u want.
massage the tummy with warm olive oil
or
take a small towel or a piece of cloth warm it by iron (i warmed it in microwave) and put it on baby's tummy. do it several time. (this one is more tried and tested as my dadi did it with almost all her grandchildren when ever they got tummy pain)

khawa, what abt yoghurt with some zeera in it...that most definitely cures an upset stomach.... and is ur kid active like walking running ...sorry I don't know how old he is.....

thanks guys... the yoghurt zeera thing didnt work on him.. .nor did banans.. i ahd to keep giving him oatmeal water and he is allah ka shukar better.. semi runny stools now.. so i guess i have to keep up with it.. ive cut out dairy so that helped too... lots of rice and yoghurt and potatos and toast... bascially the BRAT diet..
bananas... rice.. applesauce, toast. though i havent given him applesauce.. he hates apples.. shock of shockers.

BRAT diet is excellent.
Avoid all dairy
Another thing that works is Rice Water - you take a small amount of rice and boil it in small amount of water. The water thickens up. give him a few spoons every hour.
