Salaam,
After reading some of your posts last week, certain questions came to mind.
Pardon my confusion, but is it as you call it ‘Fundamentalist’ Islaam that you disagree with, or are you in dispute with the Islaam brought to us by the beloved Messenger (salallaahu 'alahi wa sallam)?
W’salaam
regards
Listen Hasnain,
I 've responded to this query of yours twice and heard nothing back from you.
1)I am on record for saying that the present interpretations of Fundamentalist Islam is OUTDATED, PRIMITIVE & EXTREMIST!
2)I am on record for saying that due to #1, the present day "Fundamentalist Islam " is not a religion but a terror movement or Cult.
3) A fundamentalist muslim is one who practices #1.
4) I am on record for advocating civil revisions of Sharia to ensure equality & protection of minorities & women.
Dear AbdulMalick,
Forgive me for not responding to some of your posts. Firstly, i did not get the impression that i was supposed to respond. Secondly, 1 or 2 of them left me confused, which is why i'm adressing this thread to illeviate any confusion. And thirdly, i probably did not have the time to post an in depth response (and where a short one may not have sufficed). Nevertheless, i do apologise.
What i do not understand however, is that if you are in agreement with Islaam, as explained by Prophet (salallaahu 'alahi wa sallam), then why do you not explain that, rather than spend so much time posting threads against whom you call 'Fundamentalists'?
Your efforts will be wasted if you do not use the methodology of the Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) in matters of the Deen. When people understand and realise what the position of Islaam is with regards to certain matters, only then will they be able to differentiate truth from falsehood.
When a person engages in a discussion, he ought to see the calibre and understanding of the audience. One cannot expect to deliver a medical sermon on anthrapology in front of a group of tax accountants.
kindest regards
