So its my dholki very soon. Since I m not having a mehndi, this is the only party before the nikkah. I want it to be special. I am wearing traditional punjabi style mehdni outfit and the decor will be arranged for.
We are serving light food and I have printed shadi songs from the web and ammi has arranged for dholki.
My sisters or friends havent planned a dance or dandiya so we have a dholki, prints of songs and some dance music. The guests are close family friends and my own friends.
have antakshuri…within girls…im having that too…and it sooo much fun…make sure u make a video for it…
and another thing im gona have dun is…one side will be the girl and another side will be boy (but it’ll be girls obviously as im only strictly having girls)…then have songs like…
‘ye purda hata lo…ye mukhra dikha do…hum piyar kurne wale hein koi gear nuhi…aare hum tum pe murne wale hein koi gear ni’…(from aik phool do maali)
then the girl side starts singing…‘mere mujnoun ke nena mere peeche na aana…hum piyaar kurne wale hein koi gear nuhi’…cant remember it fully…
it’ll be sooo much fun…and scream and make sum noise wen the other party cant think of anything…then get ur freinds to force u to get up and dance with them…and u can dance lil bit half shurmaying…
