i never made it yes, always dhai bhalay, so can soemone plz tell me how to make it?
Re: dhai boondi
For the simplest way to make it:Soak the boondi in hot/warm water for a min or so.drain it and add to yogurt along with salt and chaat masala.Done.
For the 'fancier' version:I add boiled and cubed potatoes, chopped red onions, tomotoes and finely chopped fresh mint (if I have that).Season the yogurt with salt and chaat masala and mix everything.
Boondi raita is easy peasy and yummy too...:)
Re: dhai boondi
Thnkx a lot I will try the fancy version.
Re: dhai boondi
add chopped cucumber also. adds to the taste. A dash of green chutney added to the dahi boondi also makes it more tasty.

you mean the mint sauce right?
Re: dhai boondi
Is Boondi also called pulkiyyan?
Re: dhai boondi
Yeah I guess

yes :)
I usually make phulkiyan myself. Not a fan of readymade phulkiyan for some reason. I make the baisan batter and use a tea spoon for pouring it into the wok. They do well.
Re: dhai boondi
u can use maggi tamarind sauce with dahi phulki as well, it taste so yum. ![]()
