How come word ‘Prem’ got dhai (2.5) letters?

Can anyone knowing Hindi help with illustration?

*prem = प्रेम *

pa = 1
ma = 1
aadhaa ra = .5

1 [pa] + 1 [ma] + 0.5 [aadhaa RA] = 2.5

ye aadha re hai ya deRh.. I mean Urdu main to 're' ke sath 'ye' bhi hai

Hindi meN aadhaa akchhar [Harf] bhii hotaa hai...Urdu se iskaa koi ta'alluq nahiiN...Urdu kii YE ke liye pa ke oopar ek "aye kii maatra" [vovel = maatra] lagii huii hai jo count nahiiN kii jaatii.

aise alfaaz jaise PREM, TRAIN, Crane, RashTra, [ya'nii un do Huroof ke beech jin meN koii vowel na ho] to use aadhe akchhar se likhte haiN jaise prapt, praat, Kraantii, shlok etc
