Hi all,
As I mentioned to a few of you while asking for info. that my cousin is getting married. Now when deciding for the hall, we are stuck.
Any experiences with Dewan-e-khas or Sapphire? I’ve seen the pics on their site and looks like dewan-e-khas has a very classy exterior but their interior is not super impressive, though its pretty good. Sapphire looks modern but it looks like they just keep on using yellowish color for all occasions’ decoration.
Please let know about both of the hall’s service, decor (interior and exterior), arrangement in general and most of all FOOD..(also, how are they when dealing with clients? as in do they listen to you or rude and rip offs?, very important to know, since nothing really goes as planned, in pk)
Also, wats the ‘trend’ these days in pk; carpets or hardwood floors?

i wud say dewan-e khas....coz more space for car parking.dealing very well.
dont know abt sapphire.

on my mamu's wedding we had the mehndi and the barat at dewan-e-khas the exterior and the decorations and service is very goood its really nice from inside i love theri crown shaped glass doli that they had at that time abt 4 years back. but the downside is the food
the food is not very nice , quite tasteless . they had sooo much food at the wedding like a humungous buffet but nobody really enjoyed it .
and you know how important food is for desi weddings sab kuch bhool jata hai apart from khana lolz
but if that is not a key point then yeh go wid dewane khas . i dont know abt sapphire that must be new.

Thanks =) yeah, i love the exterior and doli (seen in pictures) it looks pretty nice. as for sapphire, i heard they are more 'modern'. apparently, dewan-e-khas doesnt have enough space in their individual halls to accomodate the number of ppl we have, however, if we use their 'lawn' or watever then that would work out. but then again, sapphire's food presentation, i heard is pretty good.
oh lord, we need to decide by today or max. tomorow cuz they r getting booked like mad now since the shadi season has started in pk.

i know tell me abt it , we dint consider dewan e khas , but everything was soooo booked that wehad to go for this new hall called Qasr- e - Zauk i dont know if u have herd of it
it looks okay but i hope its nice . valima in margalla hall tho in islo

no i havent heard of that one. but yeah, i also hope it would be turn out good (ameen) I just saw ur countdown, so congratulations in advance =)
