Guys i need to know in this movie was devdas a loser?..or his parents never understand him, like he loved a girl more than his life and he could never have her 
why because of his parents or him self.

his parents were Sir Zameendar, all proud....and he himself was not all smart either...
His parents were all proud and never understood him and Devdas never understood himself. He never knew he loved Paro so much and when he realized that...it was too late as Paro was already gonna get married to this other guy.
if the parents are rich and zameendar that does not mean that they should not give there children what they want

Devdas was a Loser, Infact his whole family was a Loser, The biggest loser was his Brother and Brother’s wife. After that His Mom (Well she had to be, otherwise there wont a Story) and then His father.
Another Big time loser was Chandramukhi, She was so stupid - I dont know what she saw in that drunkard Devdas and started loving him.
I am the biggest loser of them all - Who first spent 25 bucks (2 tickets, + Pop), spent another 10 bucks to buy the CD and then another 25 bucks to buy the Full Pack DVD.

I mean think of it from a real point of view..
the night that he left w/o Ash.. the decsion must have been hard for him cuz he did love his parents.. but when she got married that was that...
he should have learned from his previous mistake and married Madhuri..
