this movie is jinxed,before this 2 more devdas were made one by kl sehgal and one by bimal roy and both were flops!also,2 people died during the making of this film! there was fire on the sets and lot more happened!devdas is based on novel devdas written by my fav writer sharatchandra.the novel is better in comparison to the film!
Devdas Music is very good. Music lovers also try to listen to COMPANY MUSIC. some of the songs are good

however in my opinion one and only AR rahman rules that industry rest r no match for his talent.

ISMAIL DARBAR is the music composer for DEVDAS. His last movie was HAM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM, Music was fabulous.

Its very hard to commet on the movie as haven't seen it but going by the reputation of director his last offering was X E lent, so one hopes this film shouldn't be much strayed from its point.

Definitely, AR Rahman is the only one who knows what he is doing, but lately he's losing his touch.
Ismail Darbar was great with Hum Dil De chuke and I like the music for that better actually, but this is a different film, and obviously the music ought to be different. But its still good stuff neway.
I love devdas' songs they are too good, just too good too good.... I listen to them 24/7.
Well not exactly but at least 12 hours a day.
