Devan Street Chicago VS Jane Stree Toronto:

Which one is cooler for Desi Hang out?
Which one has better desi restaurants?
Which one has better desi shops?
And every other comparison come in mind?

I have been in Chicago so many times and I think Devan Street is lot better than the Jane Street in Toronto in every aspect

Any one else know any other place in North America which could be compared to these two desi hang out streets?

Ummmm Islin N.J. and the Mother of all North American Desi hangouts..i.e. Jackson Hieghts NY would give Toronto and Chicago a run for their money.

But if you want the big boys to roll in...
then any of these places cant really compare to Southhall or Westham in London.

The Heights in NY is better than Devon on any given day. Though Devon is bigger, The Heights has a higher desi density!!!

Not to mention, better looking vendors at the music stores (those who have been there know what i mean ;))

Jane street is the best BECAUSE there are a lot of Blacks living there. You can get all kinds of drugs on Jane/Finch. Believe me you will feel that you are in Pakistan because the drugs are so easily available.

Jane street the best, brings you closer to home
