I love the way Dettol and Pinesol smell, but I try not to use them for oral hygiene purposes

^ I've never tried it as a mouth wash. And haven't noticed that on the label either. Too much dettol or undiluted can burn your skin....I dunno if I can try it as a mouthwash. But now my curiosity is peaked.

no don't use dettol at all seriously its got chemicals and stuff

which might give skin cancer. a couple of my relatives got that from using dettol

STAY AWAY from dettol i'd recommend that

y would u wanna use it as a mouthwash when there are mouthwash available :p

Detol is not a mouth wash, brah. :D

It is used on cuts, bruze, burns, as in shaving water so if you get cut it prevents from bacteria. It is also used as a body wash.

dettol is the worst thing in the world. when i was a kid and i got bruised i would go running to the bathroom, hide the dettol in the nearby dirty clothes closet and only then go crying to mommy.

^ I like dettol. I like the smell. I like the clean feeling it gives you. When I was a kid and got scrapes......my mommy would put Old Spice AFTER SHAVE on it. Now that STUNG!!!!! I would dread that white pear-shaped bottle!

I am gonna go the Indian store today and take the picture of the back label and will post it here to show people that one of the reccomended use of dettol is mouth wash
