So I was reviewing this book called “What Really Works: The Insider’s Guide to Natural Health,” and came across a couple of detox diet plans.
Warning, however, is that any serious detoxification can trigger what is known as a “healing crisis” so don’t do this if you have important commitments as you can have headaches, mood swings, diarrhea, etc.

Breakfast
Fresh fruit, oatmeal or a breakfast cereal that does not contain wheat or sugar.
Lunch
Soup and/or salad with a carb such a rice cakes. Or a protein and veg meal like stir fry of grains and veggies.
Dinner
A protein or starch (opposite of what you had for lunch), salad and/or a non dairy low sodium soup.
Snacks
juices fruits or veggies
sunflower/pumpkeen seeds
raw almonds/cashew nuts
rice cakes with tahini
soya based yoghurts
Master cleanse drink recipe:
Drink this 30 mins before breakfast and lunch.
1 cup water
juice of half an organic lemon
a pinch of cayenne pepper
2 tsp honey
Heat gently and drink.
Before lunch, add 1-2 tsp of finelt grated ginger.
In the 2nd week of this detox, take vit C and a multivitamin also.
