He should resign by himself but having said that, lets not mislead people here are the words "
"...**.possible **conviction on such a charge **may **entail a
disqualification from being elected or
chosen as, and from being, a member of
Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) or a
Provincial Assembly for at least a period
of five years. "
He is not rendered ineligible by court they have used word "possible" and "may"

the election commission has asked for the result of the conviction case, but i dont think they can disqualify him unless his appeal is turned down. But lets see where things go.

I for one dont want him to resign. The amount of damage he is doing to the PPP by his current shananigans is far more severe and long lasting, and I want him to continue doing that. He has also made a few things very clear to people in general.
1. PPP members are loyal to PPP (or more specifically, Zardari), not to Pakistan(or at least their first allegiance is to Zardari).
2. They have admitted to a lot of crimes......the only fight they are putting up is by way of highlighting the crimes of their opponents.(whenever the $60 million is highlighted, they bring up issue of how much money Sharif bros stole)
3. Their restoration of judiciary was a sham, just meant to appease people...and now they are back to their old ways of cursing down the judiciary.
Just look at the gloves-off fight going on between PML-N and PPP........they are killing each other off. One couldnt have scripted a better solution.

The actuall real cause of all this drama by SC to make him convicted so he couldn't carryon as PM both are dheet tho(^ー゜)
