Re: Destroy the Letter ‘C’
the ‘ch’ in urdu (eg Choudhary) can be made up using ‘T(s)j’ as it is done in Dutch and other (mixed) german lingos
. Compare T(s)jernobyl and Chernobyl

Re: Destroy the Letter 'C'
and more : noon-ghunna, say (tay-with one extra dot) "do-chashma-wali-hay" :D etc etc
EDIT: "do-chashma-wali-hay" = H, but "Huqqa wali hay"
Re: Destroy the Letter 'C'
hmm noon ghunna is silent N and say is S and do chashmi hae is H
also Qaaf (qaaFla wala Qaaf) is also missin
Re: Destroy the Letter 'C'
Captain bhai, hmmm, all hays will fall under H, dont u reckon?
Re: Destroy the Letter 'C'
There is a French book called "La disparition" which contains no E's, it was then translated into English under the title "The Void" and it still contains no E's, very impressive as E is the most commonly used letter.
Re: Destroy the Letter ‘C’
^
hey kewl..! i heard something like that too
is that possible though…
weird… how can a whole book not have E’s???
Re: Destroy the Letter ‘C’
“huqqay” wali hay ki awaz mukhtalif hoti hay. “S” may be equivalent of ‘say’, but sounds are different for ‘seen’, ‘say’, ‘soaad’ if you know what I mean ![]()
Re: Destroy the Letter 'C'

Re: Destroy the Letter ‘C’

but u r right awaz mukhtalif hoti hae thori see ![]()
Re: Destroy the Letter ‘C’
Think of the poor guy (or woman) translating it into english and having to make sure it still contained no E’s.
Re: Destroy the Letter ‘C’
true dat..but like..how is it even POSSIBLE…? u know..? i guess i’ll have to see it to believe it ![]()
Re: Destroy the Letter ‘C’
Azkar T(s)houdhry ![]()
the bracket in the name makes it look elegant - haha!
like I said, if some can use K instead of Ch, then why can’t we have an accented “K” say… K*'* = Ch.
Irem, the “ain”, “ghain”, “kha” and the strong “ha” are all part of hebrew, and that’s the next language after Urdu that I’ve heard is phonetically quite rich.
Re: Destroy the Letter 'C'
"ice" for one
and also "Cease"
who is gonna take care of that
Re: Destroy the Letter ‘C’
