The game is out now. Is anyone playing it? Or have you watched any Twitch streams of it? What are your impressions so far? I’ve personally watched some Twitch streams, though I’m not a fan of the online connection always required to play model. It’s fun to watch, when I take out a couple of minutes for that. Any other impressions?

I avoid trailers and reading too much about upcoming releases.. for movies as well as games if it’s something I’m interested in.
I think big releases are extremely over hyped these days and rarely live up to expectations they build. It seems that as gaming has gone more mainstream, the hype machine has gone into overdrive in order to appeal to that wider audience that aren’t going to be as discerning. In ye olde days, gamers themselves generated most of the hype around titles they were anticipating and usually for good reason.
