can anyone pls help me.. its v urgent. the place where i m workin is closing down and a new company is opening up in its place. they did many job cuts and my name is included in the list, which means i m here only till the end of this month, then i have to find job elsewhere. they are doin this to cut down on costs. now, i m still really interested in the job. since some of the people wud continue to b here, the business is the same, just the name of the company is changing (it was an American company before, now its local). how to write an email/letter showing my boss that i wud b interested in their offer if any job opportunity (in my field) comes up. how to show him i m v eager to work here cus i m so familiar with the enviornment and people. this job means alot to me cus its v close to my home and the pay check is excellent. if i were to work elsewhere, i m sure i wudnt get such a gud salary and if i do i have to leave the city i m in and move. i m married woman so i dun wish to leave. so pls write a full letter that i shud send to my boss to tell him all these points. thanks sooooooo soooooooo mch.

You can write the letter , as you are the one who can pour you heart out to persuade your boss. And if some tweaking is needed I and many others can help make it better.
How does this sound ?
Some pointers.
Tell them about some extra ordinary things you did for them beyond the call of duty.
Tell them any kind of positive contribution you made .
Tell them how you love your job and what is so unique about it.
Tell them the skills you have which makes you best candidate for any position in this company.
Scew the letter. Say what you want to say face to face.

What country are you in? How can we offer any advice without knowing where you are? Letter writing is very different in Pakistan, vs USA/Canada.

I'd also advise having a one on one meeting and then following it up with a letter that re-iterates your story and emphasizes the things you want to drive home really well.
A letter alone is not enough in a situation like this.
